I make art to help me make sense of this crazy beautiful life on earth and to help me to bring clarity to philosophical ideas and concepts.
I make abstract art because it’s fun, can be a bit messy, and often allows me to get into a free flow state without a destination. When a flow state takes over, I have no idea what will come through - it is exciting to watch and sometimes I am truly delighted by the results… and sometimes not. The lack of rules in abstract art are simultaneously freeing and nerve wracking. For me, this is a space for deepening my practice of internal trust, knowing, and intuition.
I am inspired by nature, philosophy, words, the mystical and the mundane.
